Updated
Humanoid robots learn household and workplace tasks from human demonstrations. As a Humanoid Robot Teleoperator you perform those tasks through the robot, from home, following a precise protocol so every episode is usable training data.
What you will do
Control a humanoid’s arms, hands and head with a VR headset and hand controllers, or with a leader arm that the robot mirrors.
Perform scripted tasks such as folding laundry, loading a dishwasher, sorting objects or tidying a room, episode after episode.
Follow the collection protocol exactly: start pose, task order, pacing and how to reset between episodes.
Mark each episode as a success or failure and redo failed ones, so the dataset stays clean.
Take over a deployed robot when it asks for help, so the intervention becomes a new demonstration.
What we look for
Comfort in VR for long sessions without motion sickness. You can take breaks between episodes.
Patience and consistency: the same task done the same careful way, many times.
Fine motor control. Musicians, craftspeople and competitive gamers often do well.
Attention to detail when labeling outcomes and writing short notes on what happened.
Your setup
Connection
A stable wired or strong Wi-Fi broadband connection. Video from the robot and your controls travel over it, so steadiness matters more than peak speed.
Computer
A recent laptop or desktop with a large screen. Programs that need a VR headset, controllers or a leader arm tell you the hardware during onboarding.
Space
A quiet, private place to work. Sessions can show the inside of a client site or a home, so nobody else should see your screen.
What you get
Fully remote
Work from home, anywhere in the eligible countries below. No commute, no office.
Flexible shifts
Full-time or part-time. You choose shifts that fit your schedule; overnight and weekend shifts are available for 24/7 programs.
Paid training
You are paid while you get certified on our platform and on each robot you operate. No prior robotics experience is required for most roles.
Real robots
You work on the robots companies are deploying right now, and every session you run helps train the next generation of autonomy.
How to apply
The application takes about two minutes: your background, where you are based, how to reach you and your CV. We review every application personally and reach out if there is a match.
Frequently asked questions
- What is humanoid robot data collection?
- You perform tasks through the robot while its cameras, joint positions and grip forces are recorded. Those recordings, called episodes, teach the robot’s AI how to do the task on its own.
- Do I need my own VR headset?
- Programs that need a headset or a leader arm specify the hardware during onboarding, so you know before you start.
- How long is a session?
- Shifts are split into short episodes of a few minutes each with resets in between, and breaks are built in to avoid fatigue.
- Is this the same as remote assistance?
- It is related. Data collection follows a script to produce training data, while remote assistance means stepping in when a deployed robot asks for help. Many operators do both.
