How we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the RoboPilots platform.

Last updated: March 12, 2026

Lazarus Labs, LLC (“Lazarus Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the RoboPilots platform, which connects trained remote operators (“Pilots”) with robotic systems including wheeled delivery robots, drones, and humanoid robots.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at robopilots.com, use our platform, or engage with our services in any capacity—whether as a client deploying robots, a Pilot operating them, or a visitor exploring our site.

By using RoboPilots, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

Robot operation and telemetry data

Given the nature of our platform, RoboPilots processes certain categories of data that are specific to remote robot operation. We want to be transparent about what is collected and how it is used.

Telemetry data

During robot operation, we may collect real-time telemetry including GPS coordinates, speed, battery levels, sensor readings, motor states, obstacle detection data, and environmental conditions. This data is essential for safe operation and is retained for quality assurance and incident investigation.

Video and sensor feeds

Robots operated through our platform may transmit live video, LiDAR, and other sensor feeds to Pilots. These feeds are processed in real time to enable remote operation. Recordings may be retained temporarily for safety review, quality assurance, and training purposes. We do not use video feeds to intentionally identify individuals captured incidentally during operation.

Operator performance

We track operational metrics such as session duration, response times, task completion rates, safety compliance scores, and overall performance data for Pilots. This information is used to maintain service quality, provide feedback, and ensure safe operation of robotic equipment.

04

Training data

RoboPilots may collect and process data to improve robotic systems and operator training programs. This includes:

  • Operational recordings: Anonymized or de-identified recordings of robot operations that may be used to develop training materials for new Pilots.
  • Performance patterns: Aggregated operational data used to improve platform algorithms, optimize robot routing, and enhance safety protocols.
  • Client-provided data: Facility layouts, operational procedures, or environment data provided by clients to configure robots for their specific use cases.

Training data derived from your operations is de-identified before use. You may opt out of contributing training data by contacting us at privacy@robopilots.com. Opting out will not affect the quality of service you receive.

05

When we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Cloud hosting providers, payment processors, analytics services, customer support tools, and communication platforms that help us operate the RoboPilots platform.
  • Clients and Pilots: Limited information necessary to facilitate the remote operation relationship—such as Pilot first name and performance metrics shared with clients, or operational instructions shared with Pilots.
  • Robot manufacturers and integrators: Telemetry and diagnostic data shared with hardware partners as necessary for maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lazarus Labs, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
06

Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
  • Access controls and authentication requirements for all platform users
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Incident response procedures and breach notification protocols
  • Secure, encrypted transmission of robot control signals and video feeds

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining best practices.

07

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specific retention periods include:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active and for up to 30 days after deletion request to allow for account recovery.
  • Robot telemetry: Real-time telemetry is retained for 90 days. Aggregated, de-identified telemetry may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement.
  • Video and sensor feeds: Live feeds are not stored beyond the active session unless flagged for safety review, in which case they are retained for up to 12 months.
  • Pilot performance data: Retained for the duration of the Pilot’s engagement with the platform, plus 12 months.
  • Financial records: Retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
08

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data.
  • Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time.
  • Opt out of training data: Request that your operational data not be used for training purposes.
  • Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@robopilots.com. We will respond within 30 days or as required by applicable law. Exercising your rights will not result in discriminatory treatment or degraded service quality.
