Updated
Legged and wheeled field robots now walk inspection routes through plants, substations, pipelines and farms. As an Inspection Robot Operator you run those missions remotely, read what the sensors show and make sure nothing abnormal goes unreported.
What you will do
Launch and supervise autonomous inspection rounds, and take manual control for stairs, tight spaces or new routes.
Read gauges, thermal images and acoustic readings, and flag anomalies such as leaks, hot spots or damage.
Survey fields, fences and livestock areas with ground robots and drones.
Map new areas and update routes with the site team.
File inspection reports with images and locations for every finding.
What we look for
A background in industrial maintenance, energy, oil and gas, utilities, agriculture or security patrols is a strong plus.
Careful observation and accurate reporting.
Comfort operating a robot with a gamepad and multiple camera views.
Drone certification is a plus for combined ground and air missions.
Your setup
Connection
A stable wired or strong Wi-Fi broadband connection. Video from the robot and your controls travel over it, so steadiness matters more than peak speed.
Computer
A recent laptop or desktop with a large screen. Programs that need a VR headset, controllers or a leader arm tell you the hardware during onboarding.
Space
A quiet, private place to work. Sessions can show the inside of a client site or a home, so nobody else should see your screen.
What you get
Fully remote
Work from home, anywhere in the eligible countries below. No commute, no office.
Flexible shifts
Full-time or part-time. You choose shifts that fit your schedule; overnight and weekend shifts are available for 24/7 programs.
Paid training
You are paid while you get certified on our platform and on each robot you operate. No prior robotics experience is required for most roles.
Real robots
You work on the robots companies are deploying right now, and every session you run helps train the next generation of autonomy.
How to apply
The application takes about two minutes: your background, where you are based, how to reach you and your CV. We review every application personally and reach out if there is a match.
Frequently asked questions
- What robots are used for inspection?
- Mostly quadruped (legged) robots, wheeled field robots and drones, carrying cameras, thermal sensors and microphones.
- Do I need industrial experience?
- It is a strong plus because you will judge what looks abnormal, but training covers each site and robot.
- Is the work remote?
- Yes. The robots are on site and you operate them from home over the internet.
- What does a shift look like?
- A mix of scheduled inspection rounds, reviewing sensor data and writing reports, with manual control when a route needs it.
