Updated
Wheeled delivery robots drive most of their route alone and call a person for the hard parts: busy crossings, blocked sidewalks, a gate code, a customer who is not at the door. As a Delivery Robot Teleoperator you handle those moments for a fleet, remotely.
What you will do
Monitor a group of delivery robots and respond when one asks for help.
Drive a robot remotely through crossings, construction, crowds or a tricky entrance.
Verify handoffs: confirm the right order reached the right customer.
Recover stuck or tipped robots by guiding them or dispatching a field team.
Report map errors and recurring trouble spots so routes improve.
What we look for
Good spatial awareness and caution around pedestrians and traffic.
Quick prioritization when several robots ask for help at once.
Customer-friendly communication for handoffs.
Gaming, dispatch, courier or driving experience helps.
Your setup
Connection
A stable wired or strong Wi-Fi broadband connection. Video from the robot and your controls travel over it, so steadiness matters more than peak speed.
Computer
A recent laptop or desktop with a large screen. Programs that need a VR headset, controllers or a leader arm tell you the hardware during onboarding.
Space
A quiet, private place to work. Sessions can show the inside of a client site or a home, so nobody else should see your screen.
What you get
Fully remote
Work from home, anywhere in the eligible countries below. No commute, no office.
Flexible shifts
Full-time or part-time. You choose shifts that fit your schedule; overnight and weekend shifts are available for 24/7 programs.
Paid training
You are paid while you get certified on our platform and on each robot you operate. No prior robotics experience is required for most roles.
Real robots
You work on the robots companies are deploying right now, and every session you run helps train the next generation of autonomy.
How to apply
The application takes about two minutes: your background, where you are based, how to reach you and your CV. We review every application personally and reach out if there is a match.
Frequently asked questions
- How do delivery robots get remote help?
- The robot streams its cameras to a remote operator when it is unsure. The operator guides it or drives it through the difficult spot, then the robot continues on its own.
- How many robots does one operator handle?
- Operators usually monitor several robots and drive one at a time when needed. The ratio depends on the city and the fleet.
- Do I need a driver’s license?
- Not for sidewalk robots. Programs with road-going delivery vehicles may require one.
- What hours are available?
- Delivery runs at meal times, evenings and weekends, so there are many flexible part-time shifts.
